The annual Whyalla Show is a fantastic community event that many groups of volunteers are proud to be involved with. We are looking forward to another affordable two days filled with a wide variety of food, stalls and exciting new entertainment for all ages. Don’t miss the family favourites such as the fireworks, Darcey’s Farm, sideshow alley and our popular local bands and entertainment.
There are many ways to contribute to Whyalla’s largest annual event and we emphasise that the next generation is encouraged to become involved in the Whyalla Show, to bring new ideas and maintain the event as a true family weekend. Laws introduced in 2016 mean that the show grounds are now a no smoking area. We do have areas where smoking is allowed on the grounds however it is important to know that anyone caught smoking outside these designated areas will be issued a $200 fine. Below is a map of the show grounds with the no smoking areas crossed out. Please do not smoke inside the crossed out areas in order to avoid breaking the law and to protect the public from second hand smoke.
